OUR ETHOSMeet The Plot
Founder Michael Reyes lives, works, and grows in Buffalo, New York. A former landscape designer and lifelong plantsman, he draws on compositions in his garden to influence his floral work. In the spring of 2020 he began the process of turning the former playground of an abandoned school into a cut flower garden, The Plot. His continued goal has been to grow unique perennials, heirloom annuals and carefully selected bulbs & tubers using sustainable growing practices. The garden reflects the dynamics of the changing seasons, and that continual shift guides his design process.
Embracing the ever-changing florals of the season is at the core of our mission. Evoking memory and emotion, seasonal blooms set the stage in the narrative of your celebration. We are fortunate to work alongside so many amazing farmers, creatives and artisans in Western New York and believe our collaborative offerings are so much more than just flowers. From the initial concept, to the careful curation of blooms, to the final design and execution, we aim to tell your story; A culmination of efforts by so many to celebrate you.
